Happy to have been a part of the first cohort of the Brooklyn Communties Collective Health Enterprise Small Business Accelerator! (Yep, that's me in the royal blue company colors!) It was a very comprehensive program that focuses on presenting our small businesses to not only anchor institutions such as hospitals and clinics, but also government and corporate buyers.
Extra benefit: a fellow student asked me to design a 12-class course for non-English-speaking cleaning professionals; we're almost done! I hope to be able to repackage and market it to NYC businesses in the service industry; big need for such a course in this city.
Thanks to the BCC, particularly Ms. Gretchen Susi, and Ms. Anita Pierce, for all their tireless efforts and sincere desire to support us Brooklyn small businesses in our endeavors to offer our services to a wider audience!
